If I replace my motherboard on my banned machine will this remove the serial number and allow me back on live? if so where can I get a new motherboard and are they easy to fit? _________________ Please find my refs here.
Buy a £169 machine like the one in the bargins with free games and free controller, sell the hd for £45, games for around £50, controllers for £18 ish each, headphones £3 ish, power supply/leads £15 ish, new console for under £25 job done!
Im still confused, i know nobody knows for sure but i thought the general consensus was that if M$ found you online with a profile that had played games pre release it banned that xbox. Is there something stored on the m.board that holds this info aswell then?

The motherboard contains the serial number which is what gets banned from live. Changing the motherboard will give your 360 a new serial number and therefore the ms live system sees it as a new machine (which it is since the motherboard is the entire 'brain' of your console.) _________________ Smug Mac Owner
