Hi Johno,

These consoles are the latest stock to arrive in the UK. Currently all have the Falcon motherboard which has smaller, less power hungry chips and this can be confirmed by the fact that the console is powered by a 175W power supply as opposed to 203W.

There is a newer chipset expected but has yet to surface in the UK and I'd say it will be a few months before these are spotted in shops. Check this post http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/29/xbox-360-with-jasper-arrives-on-the-scene-in-all-its-65nm-glory/

As for the RROD, the 175W models tend to not be so prone to this failure with the added heatsink, smaller/cooler chipsets, sufficient thermal paste on the heatsinks.

Consoles still do fail and we ensure that the warranty seal is never damaged. Should one of our premods fall foul to a RROD simply return it along with your original Lite-on dvd-rom (supplied) and we'll claim a replacement from Microsoft.

For up to 12 months you will only need to pay for the postage. Anything up to 3 years we will charge you a small fee to swap drives, arrange with M$ for repair, remod the new console returned to us by M$.

A lot of people have questioned the use of Xbox live with modded consoles.

This is always AT YOUR OWN RISK!.

What we can do is help you minimise the risk of being banned.

You should never play games whilst connected or signed in to Xbox live that have either not been released OR are confirmed to be a 'review' copy of a game that has been released.

You can check your images/games with your PC running this small application www.gimp.me.uk/download/abgx360.rar .

This program will connect to a server and check not only the stealth patches but also the CRC of the game itself against retail games.

If it does not pass for any reason it is highly recommended to not use online.

Yes, boxed as retail. The original Liteon drive is replaced with a Samsung MS28 (new and comes with a seperate 90 day warranty against defects).

iXtreme 1.4.1 is the latest firmware installed with 6 months worth of free updates available (excl. postage).
