you guys dont know for sure what chip you got ? best to check your wii serial numbers, to just if u got one of them older wiis wiikey was made for,

lets just say its the wiikey,

u download wiikey 1.9s update disc, uncompress it, burn it with clonecd (or imgburn) at 2.4x speed or 1x on some good brand media,

load it up on the wii, then all the instructionare the display,

Just to let you all know folks I have sorted the problem with the update not working -

Basically I had been trying to run a non PAL version of the 1.9s update. Just ensure you download the pal version (not the one listed in the earlier post) and burn as described. Stick it in the wii and update.

One tip for when you do get that far is to use the reset button when you get a message to 'press a' or 'press any key'. Pressing any key dosent work so just press the reset button.
