will not play psp backups-Sorted

hi all
just pandora'ed m8 psp, (sicppupy one) that worked ok
loaded 2 games in to ISO folder (sims2 pets,cake mania)
found fold on psp press X to start game,
screen came up with "the game could not be started 80020321" on both games any ideas please

Have you got a UMD game in the drive? Under the default mode I think it needs one. If its one of the newer versions of the CFW press select on the XMB and change it to one of the no umd modes, preferably the sony one.

i found what i needed


Also, one your PSP is running custom firmware, hold R whilst turning it on, this will bring the recovery menu up, go to:

Configuration > UMD Mode > (Change it to) Sony xxx --NO UMD--- - then exit recovery mode

Glad you got it working. The way I said changes the same options its just that you can change it in the XMB. It's only in the last few versions of the custom firmware though.

Great got mine working to found this may help someone (like Me)
Much the same as what BB said but i was turning all the way off!

Turn on your PSP
When its turned on, Hold the power button off untill your PSP completely shuts down
Turn your PSP on but hold the R-Trigger Button to access the Recovery Menu
Welcome to the Recovery Menu
