what is the quickest way to convert an avi file to vob?

it takes me all night!!!! that is too long....

i use a software called convertdvd, which i drop 2 avi movies and it converts it to one single vob file

i use convertxtodvd and it takes me about 2 hours.

i only have a p4 2.8 gig with 1 gig ram, so not exactly advanced!!!!!!

is there a setting somewhere in the software that can make it a high priority task?

thats the same software i use.... but the convertion takes far too long, longer than 2 hrs... mines run nearly all night...

uses convertx and converts in 45mins have heard xmpeg is quick never used it tho, if it aint broke dont fix it sort of thing

Winavi would probably be quickest, results arent as good as with convertX, but the output is more then watchable

I use Cucusoft takes just under an hour and very easy to use

do you convert 2 avi movies into vob by using Cucusoft,

i think thats why mines takes so long to do, i am converting 2 avi files into a vob to fit onto a blank dvd....

I use ConvetXtodvd and for a a single AVI it takes 45 minutes and about 1hr 30 for a double AVI.

My PC is pants P4, 3ghz and 770mb ram so as above it is no power house!!

Sounds like you have the settings to high.


Go to settings>Encoding put speed to medium and priority to normal.
