Please Help !!!

Seem to picked up a virus, it only seems to be chucking up ads for the same things. When i'm just browsing the net.

I've got norton internet security but i must have let this one past, it's been brill up to now.

Can anybody suggest a program that can find it, and get rid of.

Don't mind paying if i got to.

It's just really getting me down.

Even tempted to factory reset, but that's last resort.

think it's worse than adware, my system has now slowed down, it's comming upwith dll errors on start up.

i've tried spyware docter, spybot and a registry booster but whatever i do. the probs keep coming back.

Is the only way now, to format C:

if its that bad yep only this to do is Format C...

Only other possiblity if files are throwing up errors is to make sure your hard disk not on the way out, would also be displayed as a very slow system booting and running...

quickest and easiest way is boot form your windows installation disk and then follow on screen prompts - you will get the option to format the partition there

yes mate a format did sort it out.

was a little bit easier, as my lappy is an acer. and it has a built in "back to factory settings" program.

You have my deepest sympathy in that case lol

Should be a recovery partition then in that case? See your documentation on how to do it...

Absolutely loathe Dell computers so not to sure how they ship them out these days
