Please can any of your guys help me out here?

I purchased 2 weekend camping tickets for reading festival off Fleabay.
The guys had over 700 + feedback with only 2 negative & been on there for over 4 years.
Had contact number etc.

So looked like the real deal. He sells concert tickets nearly every day on there.
He sold VIP V tickets last weekend for £600 & the people that bought them left positive feedback.

Anyway I paid for the tickets at the end of April.
The official outlets only sent the tickets out last week for Reading & Leeds.
So he said the would be here Monday or Tuesday.

And they have never turned up, what a surprise.
And even more of a surprise he won’t reply to my emails and the office phone just rings.

Anyway I contacted paypal and they have told me because I purchased them of 45 days ago there is nothing they can do.
But if I go to the police they could then give out his information, but cant at the moment because of the data protection act.
So emailed people that purchased ticket of him over the last weeks & one lady has given me his mobile number.
I called him & he gave my some BS story about him not get the tickets in time & he is on holiday, but will refund me my cash.

So all I a have is
His name
Wife’s name
Hotmail email address
EBay details
And his mobile number.

What could I do to get more info about him & how could I find out if his mobile is PAYG?
If it’s a contact phone could I find out his address?

So if I go to the police would they be able to do anything?

wait and see if he refunds you - if he has been trading for 4 years ..., mobile number will not help you get info, small claims court as a last resort.

How do I get him to small claims court if dont have much details about him?

Ok,
I now have his full Name & address.

Do I call round & give him a knock or go to the police?

Let him know you have all his details, just to make sure he does refund you. He's not going to move house over a couple of tickets, & he won't want a visit either.
