Video capture help please

Hi All,

I am just getting into video capture using a usb easycap device and capture from a cable box. The problem I have is that the file sizes are huge for the things I have tried. 1.5gb for 6 mins of video. How do I keep the quality but keep the file sixes realistic as I want to back them up on dvd

Thanks in advance

Martin

if you've got the hard drive space and you're happy with the quality, carry on the way tou're doing it. when you convert to dvd it comes out normal dvd size.
