Paypal just stung me
OK, I sold something to someone, my auction didnt offer recorded delivery, so I posted it normal post, and got proof of postage from the post office.
Well, the item never arrived, so the buyer put a paypal claim in, and even though I provided proof of postage, paypal took the money back off me and refunded her.
Aparantly, they are only interested in proof of delivery, if you cant prove that, they refund.
I appealed, but they denied my appeal after 3 weeks of faffing about.
If this is true, whenever I pay for something by paypal, if the item doesnt get posted by recorded delivery, I can say I never got it, put a claim in and get my money back??
I wouldnt do it, but it seems like paypal works like that. So I lost out on the item and the money. I'm gutted. _________________

It only happens once and it is a lesson learnt. I sent something to a person on Disqworld. He claims that he never received it. And I cannot prove that he did not. Now when it is anything of value or an ebay item, for the extra few pence I send it 'Signed for'. _________________ Congestion charging... Before it was free.
