Hi guys. My 12 year old son is a big fan of online games and in particular runescape. Recently he had had his account hacked (for the second time) and runescape has been very unhelpful and have limited his account. They do not even have customer support to allow me to contact them! I am thinking about closing his account but would like to know of any similar role playing online games that would be suitable for a 12 year old. Cheers

If you dont want to pay a monthly sub why not try Guildwars http://www.guildwars.com/ My kids love it and there 11,9 & 6 Very Happy

guild wars is a great game to start on, u buy the game and dont have to worry about fees!

Had a look at both games and they both look really good. Think I'm gonna go with Guild wars simply because there is no monthly fees to pay. Thanks for your help guys.

You should look at Steam mate, steampowered.com

You install Steam and run it, then just buy games off them. Day of Defeat Source; Counter Strike; LOTR; WoW.

I agree with last comment, defnitely download steam and easily purchased from there. My favs are Counter Strike and Halflife and lots of young player online.
