Mini Tour of Dover REPORT 13/08/07

I know most of you have done these places time and again, but I took rick38 on a mini tour of some of the more interesting (IMO) places in Dover, (Detatched Bastion/St. Martins Deep Shelter & Grand Shaft) as he hadn't seen any of them.

Didn't take many pics but got probably my best shots so far of St. Martins so was well pleased with that. Met some air soft guys at Detatched and nearly got shot Laughing bless em only kids but they were having fun and it beats the hell outta spray painting the place.

Here's a few pics, sure rick38 has some somewhere he can put up Smile

Few from the Detatched Bastion

View over Dover from the top

On to St. Martins Deep Shelter (and watch those family jewels boys)

I didn't actually take any of the Grand Shaft because once you've done it there aren't really any more pics to be had, but if you haven't seen it there are reports on Broken-Briatin anyway.

Finished off a good afternoon with Crampton Tower Museum courtesy of rick38 which I'll do in a seperate post. Can't think of a much better way to while away a few hours on a sunny afternoon than spend it showing someone round underground. Smile

All good

S
