Thanks for posting this, Ive had a quick flick through and it seems like it may be helpful to a few peeps out there. Sticky'd.

If people wish to ask Saxon any questions on this tutorial can they post below, but keep them relevant.

Needless to say you can burn to a +R disc with this method too.

I just installed a new dvd writer drive in my friends computer, the problem is I've never used dvd burner's before.
Its a LG combo drive with cdwriter and dvd rewriter built in.

What does he need to copy his original dvds to dvd-r? he's a newbie so something easy would be great.

I have dvdxcopy is it good enough?

Thanks

copying dvd back ups

wondering if you can help...I've just got a dvd-rw and am using nero 6.6.0.0 software to burn, however i can't copy on the fly, all that happens is the source drive ejects the disk and an error message comes up (invadid format or blank disk) it copies cd's on the fly no problem! i have made sure that dvd is selected before burning but no go....the burner is ok because i can burn a dvd from it and the dvd drive is ok because i can read what i've burnt, hope you can help

When you open up Nero, it will go to new compilation, make sure you choose DVD instead of CD at the left top corner...

Hope this helps you...

JAY

Hey Saxon..I was doing fine until I tried processing with DVD2One but
the evaluation copy only allowed 30 minutes and my efforts were cut short.
Is there another alternative to DVD2One.? Rolling Eyes
