Since this is a question that comes up time and again you can now refer anyone enquiring about their pm's to this Thread.

When you write your pm...........

You send it and it goes in your outbox either until the person logs on or they move about the forum or refresh their page and then actually read the message it it will not move out of your outbox until this.


So if a member does not log in for a few days the pm will stay in your outbox until they do and then actually read your pm.

Alot of people are logged in but they may not actually be at their computer so they may appear online but they could be anywhere in the house or out, so just because they show as logged in does not mean they will get the pm instantly.

Some may also have a pop-up blocker and will not know they have a pm until they actually check their messeges.

You may also, if set in your profile, receive notification of a pm via e-mail but it isn't there when you check your inbox. (Please read HERE if choosing this option.) This is because the person who sent it may have changed their mind and deleted it from their outbox before you received it.

Another note...if a PM is in your outbox, you can still edit that PM before the user receives it.
