Hey guys

i have just finished gutting my garden!!!

It has only taken about a year lol

so now it is totally bare, and i want to put turf down.

Is it okay to put turf down in october? i mean weather wise, etc..


It may be a silly questions, but just thought i would ask

put to be honet i just want it finished with now, instead of waiting for it to bloody grow lol

I just spoke to someone and they seem to say its fine to turf this time of the year also

so hopefully il do this weekend then

september/october is normally the best time for laying new turf, as the harsh sun kills it off on our glorious summer

always remember when laying turf, green side up.

yeah im back!!!!

ive been back now though for nearly 2 years, got married and bought a house since being back.

although i wish i was still out there. but my wife wanted to come back just after a year due to missing her family.

Its nice being back though around all of our families.
