SONY LCD KDL40v4000
Any one any experience on the Sony bravia KDL40v4000. We are looking for a new TV and are strongly considering this one. _________________ (If i don't own the original, i will destroy the backup within 24hrs)
This is the one I have http://www.johnlewis.com/230492474/Product.aspx great tv, really is best Ive seen by a mile for the price. U can get it for less than £700 but the bonus getting from JL is the 5 yr wty

Thanks for the response. We went for the SONY, pick it up tonight. Hubby wanted the bigger screen and the larger Samsung we were recommended was red - EWWW lol
Got the 40" SONY for £699, free SONY blu ray player and 5 yr warranty on the tv and 1 yr on the blu ray player. All from the SONY shop. Seems to be the best deal going at the mo. _________________ (If i don't own the original, i will destroy the backup within 24hrs)

lol. tbh, AVCHD's are pretty good. In a comparison between Alien AVCHD & Blu Ray it was hard to spot the difference, in fact, if u closed ur eyes & someone put in the disc, u wouldnt know which one it was. There are some films that BR is slightly better, but not £15 better if u get my drift _________________ Here for information & support only.

What "players" play AVCHD's then??
I got a PS3, Toshiba EP30 HDDVD player and an XBOX 360... will any of them do?
Also Ive got a Vaio laptop with hdmi out...

Looking for AVCHD on, torrentleech, bitsoup, torrentzilla, leecherslair and not one, sure i used to see these daily on torrentleech till i ordered my ps3

You can just convert mkv to avchd. Its very simple... click _________________
