ps3 hack ...is it worth it anyway
One thing having a ps3 chipped......but going online,wich is very popular now,You could get kicked for running back ups ,like on the 360? im sure there be the same probs...Is it worth it with online games ?

sure i agree....im just thinking if a hack comes,will it be worth it,cos i look for games that go online mostly.and if you risk getting banned from online gaming like on the 360......well,I won`t bother,
Other games that don`t go online will be great though.Just a thought. _________________ All I buy is for my own personal use.

not really.
360 are cheaper than ps3 and easy to replace.
if your ps3 gets banned thats 300 quid wasted and if you got a 60gig thats out of the question.
even maybe the fw updates could brick your ps3 and sony wont replace them _________________ #Any purchases made by me are on the grounds that I own the original, if not the backup will be destroyed

just the same as 360, as long as your carefull YOU WONT get banned, security sectors and release dates are all you have to go by, its easy if your patient

they only managed the xbox so quick because it used pc parts. made it quite easy for the hackers. the ps3 is pretty much all new technology so theres a lot of unknowns. similar to when the ps2 came out, it took quite a few years for the ps2 to be cracked. id imagine if they could produce a chip like in the ps2 then they could make it undetectable. the best way would be if they could copy the games, there would be no need to flash or hack the ps3 so nothing to detect, as far as the ps3 is concerned it would be an original disk. id be surprised if they manage anythin for another year or two. _________________ Any Backup's you recieve from me is under the STRICT understanding, they are destroyed WITHIN 24 Hours!

Didnt the gamecube take a few years before it was hacked? it will be hacked i have no doubt about it, just gotta play the waiting game for how ever long it takes
Ive got a ps3 for my birthday in 3 weeks time, im not a massive gamer and not the sort to rush out to buy a game on release day, so im not to fussed at the moment, ive managed to pick up a few games from ebay for peanuts _________________

yeh ebay is great, ive bought the majority of my games from there and rarely paid more than £25! some titles ive had before they where even out over here dont really see the point in a hack to play copied games, just end up playin the game for 5mins then moving onto the next one. when you buy a game you get more attatchment to it and more incentive to play it. would be good to see some homebrew applications on the ps3 though. _________________ Any Backup's you recieve from me is under the STRICT understanding, they are destroyed WITHIN 24 Hours!
seems pointless to me wether they hack it or not as theres only 24 people in the uk that actually use there ps3 for playing games anyways,
just a blu ray player as far as im concerned, in fact its sat on top of the "wii fit" next to the chocolate fountain, the bread maker, the capachino maker, the 12 slice toaster, the george forman grill and all the other pointless fads ive been stupid enough to buy _________________ MY SUPER REFS

lol. well from what i heard the majority of ps3 owners are completely unaware of its bluray and media capabilities. which is a shame cos theyre missing out on some handy features.

where did u get that info, it was 274,000 and thats only cos the 360 version sold out so the xbox owners thoufgt, sod it im in the shop so im gonna buy it anyways, so im suppose ill have to have it on the ps3....... lol

For those of you following the hard and bloody CONSOLE WARS, Chart-Track reports that 55% of those copies were sold on Xbox 360, with the remaining 45% going to PS3 owners.
