Datasafe???? cant get them to work on anything.

I bought some infinit media, they got Ritek dye generation 3 in them (this identifier b @ p 7) but I cannot get them any longer. They were quite good. Not one coaster, boots fine and loads fast. I wonder which brand carries that dye as well? I'd sure like some more.

How are the new Datasafe whitetops with "Traxdata" dye btw?

My vote goes to ....... DATASAFE ...... i have been using the gen 3 Yellow top 1X DVDr for PS2/X-BOX and general back-up , 90 discs = 0 coatsers . Got these discs from Big Pockets who no longer list them Sad and i`m down to my last 10 are these the same discs ?? ....... http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/product.php?id=399 ...... I have a pack of 10 Datasafe DVD-rw like these ..... http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/product.php?id=426 ... .. got them for £10 at my local fair tried 2 for PS2 and they to me load much much better than DVDr , my V5 PS2 has a Messiah chip when i load a game burned on this DVD-rw there is very very little noticable loading noise from the laser as it does with the DVDr the rw seem to load as if they were originals , but my chipped X-BOX hates them i get the dirty disc error Sad Has anyone else tried these for PS2 ??? . Hope this post is OK .

Love

~KEN~ Wink

Hiya peeps, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am a new(ish) owner of a Pioneer 105 and I ordered quite a few different types of discs to to try out.
In my short trial period I would recommend Datawrite Classic (Grey) 2x speed for PS2 games. They cost me £1.10 each which I didn't think was to bad.

Hope that helps and I hope I speak to lots of you more soon.

Cheers STEVE

Just to put my 2p in. Ive tried Verb 4x -R and these write at 8x on my NEC. Work fine in ps2.... Available for as cheap as 99p on the web. Handy for 2500a users who need some 8x media.
