i heard that if its bought from france,its illegal over there to block the phone to any one user/supplier so all phones are unlocked to any provider.

I love mine to much to hack into it plus O2 have done something to there firmware so cant be unlocked.

There are now reports of new firmware being added to unlocked phones to stop this bricking.

Or you could just not download Apple's updates.
