Pioneer 112 Problem

Think its on its last legs

Pioneer 112D had it a year taking 30 mins to copy disc to hard drive and 30 mins to burn it, any advice on what could be wrong or is it the age of it ?

Check it hasn't gone into PIO mode instead of DMA, sometimes happens if you have tried to read a bad disc.
