which are the picky dvd-roms.... i thought they were the hitatchi's but mine has played everything thats thrown at it.


can you guys confirm the drives that normally only play verbs.

from my experience no specific drive make or model likes specific discs

youll get the odd one that does tho, ive currently got a hitachi 79fl im using as my main xbox and it plays everydisc i chuck at it

hitachi are usually the picky ones,saying that i know a lot off them have no problems with media

i have just recieved a very very picky samsung console tonight with 50 games for £130... good deal... full prem console

ill be swapping the laser or even the drive in the next few days - needless to say

or you can go a full new drive for £30 or so then just swap the controller boards over if its the same drive, you dont even need to re flash it or anything then
