Is there a maximum size SD Card the Wii will take? Also is there any difference between a standard SD card and the Official Wii Sandisk gaming card?
Looking to put some homebrew apps and games on so want decent size card.

Tried looking on the internet for answers but get conflicting views.

2Gb is max Wii can use at the moment,no difference in official or other cards,Homebrew channel installed and VC games highly recommended

The 2gb max size only applies to the Wii saves.

With the latest homebrew channel you can use SDHC cards but only for homebrew, I've got 4gb cards and they work.

so If I got the new homebrew channel I could load it up with downloaded VC stuff and be able to use the full 4gb?
