i have just brought a compaq pc and it has a liteon dvd writer in it this is a +writer i have allways had minus wrters before could anyone tell me if there is much diferance and will dvds burned on this play in the same dvd players as the minus ones also could anybody tell me a good not to expencive dvd+r to use with this writer

more expensive but will normally give u a better quality of burn

-r format
-----------

a whole lot cheaper, better compatability

the main diff between +r and -r is compatabiltiy in stand alone players

-r are more compatible in standalones

I have used Bulkpaq 4x dvd+r 0- burned over 300 not one coaster

They are £5.49 at disk depot at the moment - 15 mins til their 50p delivery ends

give them a go
