for kermit

hello M8

Treat puppies like babies or should i say think like it is a baby at this stage the puppy is going through a teething stage chewing everything it can get hold of as this is encouraging the teeth to come through exactly like human babies i would suggest chews or soft toys the puppy is young yet and will grow out of it promise please be patient you can also buy anti chew spray which tastes like lemon the dog finds them disgusting. all you do is spry it where it chews you can try that as well go along with the chews frst and soft toys ie rubber 1 see how you go and please let me know

by for now

Regards

NeWfE

FOR KERMIT

HELLO M8

Good to hear from you right your problem is very easy guess what your dog is teething and do just what babys do chew chew and chew i suggest to get rubber toys and chews to try i would reccomend dried pigs ears they love em not to many though can give them the runs a couple or 1 a day is fine also get the raw hide chews they will grow out of it trust me if you see them having a chew still correct them (with voice command ) there are anti chew sprays which you can by at the pet shop you could try those to you spray where they chew and tastes disgusting.

let me know how you get on m8

regards

NeWfE

I need a full nights sleep

Hi Mate

My dogs now in the habit of wailing and barking at 4AM sometimes 5AM until I get up and take her out in the freezing cold for a pee. we've tried ensuring she pees at midnight but she still goes mental around 4am, if we ignore her she will continue until we get up and frankly I always do in case something is wrong, 9 times out of 10 she does pee then back in and will be quiet until I get up, occasionally though its attention seeking.
any advice short of giving her her own door key Shock

i have a question.

my 11 week old german shepherd puppy is suddnly passing water after a quick drink of water and its coming out very clear, could this be a water infection or a possible kidney problem?
im gonna call our local vet in the morning and see what they think.

Hello m8

got a suggestion for you

you can buy bark collars they give a tingle when you press a remote rather like you sticking your tongue on a battery you can have the tingle mild or increase it only use this for correction ie she barks press the remote they soon learn people think this way is cruel i use them and they work it gets to a point when you only have to put the collar on and they know forget the collars that spray the liquid out some also emit a ultrasonic sound dogs don't like

i feel it's not cruel some people do all i can say is it will stop the problem dogs are quick to learn if it is a young dog ie puppy then i would suggest not to use one the other thing is they have another button which vibrates the collar and can be enough to warn the dog. please note this is not a punishment but a correction for the dog you only press the vibrate or tingle mode to stop the problem. i have used them for 6 years and put them on my dogs at night this method is used alot in america and some animal behavour specialists and gundog trainers use them if you want anymore info please pm me again m8 please understand this is not punishment or torture people don't understand how they work thats why some feel it's cruel

cheers nEwfe

thanks, however, she might be barking because of a problem so I'd rather know than not, if you know what I mean, looks like broken sleep for a long time then, or a dog nappy Laughing

hi mate, question re my Newfy, after eating her dinner she religiously gets her bed blankets and takes them into the lounge and either thrashes them about or leaves them there, her tails up and she looks like she's enjoying it.

seen this before and do you know what it might be (apart from a game)

thanks

Hi newfe

My parents rescued a sausage dog from being abused and after 2 years she has finally settled down and stopped being so afraid of people. The only thing now is she pee's everywhere, I know that dogs can dribble when excited but she does it anytime of the day. Sometimes she does let my parents no that she needs to go but other times she doesnt.. and thats when she has the 'accidents'.

I'm looking for any suggestions that may help my parents.
cheers m8
