Ipod in a car ?

In most of the cars the girlfriend is thinking of buying the stereo comes moulded in and is part of the dash. At least thats what it looks like.
Now if they don't come ready for an Ipod , is there an easy fix or way round it ?
Without taking a chainsaw to the dash.

Try an FM transmitter mate - a cheap way of doing it. This plugs in to your 12V DC socket (formely known as the cigarette lighter).

Check out eBay - around a tenner or so.

Most modern car stereo's have an output connector on the back to fit a lead onto for ipod's if you don't want your 12v (formerly cigarette lighter) taken up Wink

I've got an FM transmitter but don't think much of it at all, even though it has a few good reviews on amazon. As I drive, I'm constantly having to change the channel. Plus you can hear background interference.
