IPOD HELP

just recieved my 60GB Video IPOD 2day, i have loaded the software and that but it freezes my computer when i connect the IPOD, why is this happening? ITUNES software will work fine when the isnt connect but will not respond when i connect ipod, any ideas?

what OS and iTunes are you using.

Is the ipod through a hub or straight into the computer?

Try different port or cable.
