Urban Exploration is NOT a criminal activity, we DO NOT break in to any place we visit, we DO NOT take anything away from any place we visit and we DO NOT vandalise any place we visit.

What we do is take photographs so others can see what we can, alot of the places we visit will be demolished and lost forever, we are merely documenting our surroundings for future generations to see, the criminals are the local authorities, land owners and rabbit hutch builders who demolish these amazing buildlings.

A quote from a BBC Insideout article:

"So we contacted several organisations who we thought might object to the new phenomenon of Urban Exploration, and the results were surprising:

* The Health and Safety Executive said this is not something we get involved in. We only deal with places of work.

* Kent Police said it's not a criminal offence.

* The Environment Agency said it's not something they would get involved in.

* Kent Fire Brigade said it would only concern them if fires were being started.

* The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings say that you have to commend these people.

* Save Britain's Heritage says that it has had a few of its sites visited by these groups and they have provided them with great pictures via their websites.

Finally a source at English Heritage said he actually uses Urban Explorer websites for more information about locations he's having difficulty getting permission to enter himself."

We DO have experience and we ARE well equipped

We would not suggest that anyone does this for themselves as it can be extremely dangerous, it's something we choose to do and we are well aware of the risks we take.

Obviously there are other like-minded people out there who also know the risks of Urban Exploration, if you are an UrbEx minded person and wish to share your explores please feel free to post below, we'd love to see your pics an hear the details.

Please DO NOT post access details as we don't want inexperienced people or youngsters doing this and putting themselves at risk of injury or getting in trouble in any way.

Cheers
