Hi, does anyone know where i can purchase a female iggy about 4 ft long ive had to build a new shed to house my iggy as he is growing very quick & he's now come into season & there's plenty of room for two it would also keep him company as he only has contact with myself now he's not in the house, i would take one in need of rehomeing but i cant find any available as yet & floyd ( that's my iggy not me ) is getting desparate.
when i get time i can post some pics if anyone is interested he's not camera shy.

Try the rspca mate, when i worked in a pet shop there were people coming to us asking if we could take all sorts of animals that had outgrew their surroundings. I got a 4" boss monitor from a guy, his name was percy and he was nuts

Its not really something youd find a pet shop selling to be honest mate. They are fairly expensive to keep when theyre that big as you'll know and it would eat any profit they would make.

There always used to be loads in the Admart paper up here, its like an exchange and mart thing.

Might be worth a look trying there.

yip your quit right im not only searching pet shop's trying rspca & other sanctuary's id prefer an ill treated one & make a donation the one i have was ill treated rescue its a challenge at first but well worth it at the end anyway thanks again for the replies.

you could try a company on kirkstall road in leeds called snakes and adders m8 they may be able to sort you or there is a reptile rescue i think its in birmingham called prometheus
