How many gardeners on Disqworld?
I'm going to be turning my back garden into a fruit n veg plot as it's a decent size and has a good aspect.
Just wondered how many others on Disqworld are into gardening, it's been a long time for me but then I have plenty of spare time so will give me something to do.
So lets have a poll to see what you're into....

Thing is with Polls peeps is they are done for a reason, I'd like to know who does what as well as how many, so can we please post if we vote, and if we view can we please vote even if you're not interested.
It gives me a better idea of what our members are interested in and whether to expand or collapse different forums.
Cheers

I got into gardening when I moved into my new house 18 months ago.
We bought a greenhouse last year so grew toms, cukes and peppers in there, half of my back garden is a paved bbq area and the other half (about 3mx3m plus a couple of raised beds) is a small veg plot where we grew beetroot, runner beans, onions and Swede last year and I'm still using the onions! I planted garlic a few weeks ago, garlic should be planted on the shortest day and harvested on the longest day so you could get some in now
I've just sown some tomato, pepper and lobelia seeds ready for this year.
Havent touched my front garden since we moved in but will be tackling that this year. I plan to have a lawn with lots of flowers around the edge borders and trailing over the retaining walls. An olive tree as the central focal point and a "cut flower" border against the front south facing wall _________________ Before you criticise someone, walk a mile in their shoes, that way... your a mile away and have their shoes too

I tryed growing a few flowers outside in planters last year kept forgeting to water them... didn't look to clever come autumn, just got a lawn maybe I'll leave it at, was thinking about growing some runner beans up the back wall this year, got a nice south facing wall at the back of my house.. virtually the only veg I eat beans... _________________ BACKUPS MUST BE DESTROYED WITHIN 24 HOURS UNLESS YOU OWN THE ORIGINAL.
