I sold a PSP on saturday, the buyer has turned around and said he cannot pay for another 2 weeks

Im not very happy about this and the buyer knows it, hes now spouting ebay rules to me like i should be greatful for a 2 week wait before i get payment

Is there a set amount of time a buyer has to pay for items he/she has bid on and won, a link would be good

Sure the buyer wouldnt be happy if i left him waiting on deliverey for 2 weeks, so i dont see how he can expect me to be fine with having to wait for payment

You cant start the non paying bidder process until 8 days have passed from the end of the auction.

You must wait 7 days to file a complaint and then 7 days to close it if no payment has been made. I would start the non paying bidder dispute as soon as the seven days is up so the buyer no's that you a serious. I've done this in the past and recieved the payment that day or the next. He's using the rules to make you wait for payment which is pants.

when selling on ebay i allways put payment must be recived within 7 days if not the item will be relisted.

i only use pay-pal so there is no reason for late payments.

did you have a time limit on your auction for when payments must be recived by? 5-7 days etc

plus with the feedback system now the buyer has the upper hand you cant give them a neg,if they muck

The way he was going on i was the one being unreasonable, will put the dispute in as soon as it gets to seven days, think hes wanting me to do as he says or he will neg me, but that doesnt bother me in the slightest

Id not put a time limit on the time i must receive the money unfortunatly, will make sure i do in future
