Right so PS3 has done me over a few times im giving it its last chance before i change again.

1 Dropped so i broken it

had a blueray drive failure and a big shiny black brick out of box didnt switch on at all

when your ps3 breaks, do you contact sony and they send u a new one? or is it fixed or reconditioned? you seem rather unfortunate to have so many failures. i remember when i had problems with my mobile phone a few years back and orange kept sending me reconditioned units. 3 times it broke. in the end i accepted their offer of a brand new alternative phone then i sold it and bought a new one myself and it lasted for years. never trusted repaired/reconditioned stuff after that. they just send you someone elses crap and it never seems to last. if u get another reconditioned ps3 id flog it and then go out and buy a brand new one from a shop! lol

I had 3 360's in my lifetime, all knackered RROD, hard drive failures, drive failures....I am on my first PS3...I year on, so far so good. Must be you mate.

my drive wouldnt read my games sony offered me recon but was under ayear old so took it back where bought it and got a replacement

For some reason my son's just froze after playing for about 15 minutes, this included playing online, offline and different games.

When it froze you could hear a skipping noise as if the laser was playing up.

Phoned Sony and within 7 day's we had it swapped.
