Hi All.

Running vista home on my acer lappy

Recently tried to run ad aware free version through a full system scan it would crash, and id have to close the program and the "report to microsoft"
Error message appeared. Upgraded to the newest version however seems to lock at a certain stage i.e crashing

Does anyone know if its fixable?

Im open to sugestions for alternative products on the market doesnt matter to be fair if you have to pay for them

So if anyone could recommend a new spyware/adware and VIRUS scanner as im sure avg isnt picking stuff up that would be great

If you want reassurance try one of the online virus scanners such as thse from Kaspersky, trend, etc
