Grout Cleaning???

Does anyone have any tips for grout cleaning? The grouting in my kitchen is very yellow. I've tried bleaching it but it's not much better. I don't want to have to scrape it all out and re-grout, so any tips would be much appriciated.

have you tried one of the grout cleaners you can get supermarkets i work for travelodge and we have to clean the grout in our bathrooms each month. We get supplied with a product from a company called zenith but we run out all the time so i just go to Asda and buy the detol mould and mildew remover which i find works even better that the zenith stuff, the best thing to do is also leave the stuff on the grout for about half hour to work then get a tooth brush to wash it off.
If all else fails you could even get a grout restorer pen that just goes over the top the discolored grout.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go. My bathroom tiles are fine though, still nice white grout after 12 years. It's the kitchen grout with is a problem. Years of cooking has taken it's toll.

Someone suggested diluted vinegar. Tried that but it made it worse and made my kitchen smell like a chippy.

I'll see what products are available in B&Q later today.

Thanks.

I used neat bleach and left it overnight to do its work.

Rinsed it off the following morning.

Then repeated for 3-4 days where the stains were stubborn.

We got something from B+Q - you scraped a little of the surface grout away and then used a toothpaste like tube to go over that bit. Wasn't too bad.
