i personally have had no problem with these but i dont send them out on trades unless thats what i am being sent.

What i have found thogh is that these discs have problems when written at high speed (above 4x) this may be the case for the lot you had sent to you.

At 4x these have worked in everything for me and had no probs getting images from them.

I think the problem with these discs is that there seems to be 2 different dyes available and one is the AN31 which is crap. I haven't had an Infosmart disc as the 25 I had were bought by the wife because they were cheap. Any online disc provider will all tell you that these are INFOSMART..01 which they may well be from their stock but there are many AN31 discs with the same v3 label. Personally I won't buy them as I prefer the reliable Ritek G04 and think that it is bad that the "New" disc is available in 2 forms. I presume the discs that FLASH reviewed http://www.dvd-recordable.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=79 were selected carefully for the test. Well I may be wrong but it certainly looks that way.

(Sit's down to be corrected, flamed etc.)

But these discs are only 4x speed you are expecting trouble if you expect them to produce good burns all the time at 8x speed.

Burn fine on my 105 & work great in my dvd player (Yelo 800) and many others ive tried them with, including Sonys & Panasonics.
Never had any probs with them.
Still use riteks sometimes though, always for ps2 games.
Don't think you can complain with £6 for a tub of 25.
