Converting to MP4

So what software do you all use to convert your films into MP4?

Just trying to get the simplest and quickest one.

Any advice

visualhub m8, you wont find better, throw anything i and it will convert for each device, ipod, appletv, iphon, touch, even burn to dvd for you.

and fast too

Does anyone know if you can download movies for the iphone that are already converted to whatever the iphone plays, are they on the Newsgroups and if so what do i search for?

Yes just look for the ipod groups like..

alt.binaries.ipod.videos

or if you have newzbin - you can just list EVERYTHING in an ipod movie format
