Commodore 64

anyone else grow up on one of these bad boys? after the tape phase in about 85/86 my old man got a disk drive and started trading them through a magazine (zed 64?) and we ended up with shite loads (a good few thou)

since i got the retro collection for my PSP i havent put it down! i prefer the C64 games to the PSP games (well sort of Wink )

what games did you used to play on?

a FEW of my favs (could go on all day Laughing )

combat school - broke several joysticks
jeep command
outrun
manic miner
maniac mansion - puzzle/adventure
krakout (arkanoid type game)

i could list a page full Rolling Eyes

i started my life journey on the C64 as well Very Happy

Creatures was one of my favourite games for the system, but like you i could list a full page of games i used to play on that machine

Am currently in the process of finding a decent emulator for my new pc, seems none of them want to operate in full screen properly in windows vista..... oh well the hunt continues

I grew up with the C64 too, before moving on to an amiga. I've still got my C64 and all my games. Some games were fantastic, I used to spend hours on it. It just goes to prove that good graphics don't make a good game.

My brother was well into the 64, he was one of the first in our town to crack and train games.. In fact he used to be a member of Front, Triad and Fairlight and used to write demos and cracks for loads of the games in the day..

I remember playing on katakis, monster boy in wonderland, Lightforce, Delta, Uridium, trap, monty mole, Loco / Suicide Express / Black Thunder and various other ones aswell
