Hi
Just to let you all know that my fuel consumption has not changed I still get between 35 to 40 to the gallon depending on how I drive.I use a 50/50 mix because my friend at the garage told me that that would cause me no problems at all.Now you can run a diesel car on veg oil or sun flower oil alone but he told me that this time of the year I may have starting problems. So by using 50/50 and buying the oil from Asda I am on average saving 40p per ltr thats £1.80 per gallon so i'm happy with that.

By using 50/50 there has not been any change with the running of my car other than the smell out of the exhaust.I don't mix it with anything else all I do is put say 18lts of fuel and then pure six 3ltr bottles of veg oil straight into the tank.

Can I just say tho get advise on if your car can run on bio fuel as a mate of mine has a 52 plate land rover disco and he was advised not to run on bio fuel so just ask to be sure

hope this info helps

cheers pato
