Bathroom Fan

When fitting a fan in the bathroom, can the isolating switch be in the same room or does it have to be fitted outside.

Thanks

Why not spur the fan from the lights, so that they are operated from the same switch?

Yes I can do that, but it still needs an isolating switch fitted somewhere.

the problem with this method is you do not always want the fan on when you go to the bathroom,

in our council properties we fit a fan isolator outside the bathroom )as stated on this thread), and instal a fan with a built in humidity sensor,

that way you only use the fan when needed
