ok me and a few mates are thinking about going ot barcelona for 4 days at the start of december....

was looking at ryan air and they fly from prestwick - "barcelona" girona (over an hour away from barca) £55 return

or fly globespan £90 but is the city airport....

Anyone know of any good deals / hotels/ things to see and do?

Any comments are welcome

Really not planned anything yet so if anyone knows of good cheap hotels, would help alot!!!

me and the missus went there last year and stayed at a hostel type place....well it was called hostel lami. http://www.barcelona-on-line.es/eng/reserves/plantilla_hotel.asp?Local=204 it was not like a hostel here in the uk but more like a clean basic hotel.it was out of the way but there is a tram line 5 mins away that take you into the main town (really cheap) and on the way to town we did notice a pacha....big ques on a saterday night,i dont know if its the same as the 1 in ibiza but worth a look. good luck mate have fun what ever you decide
