my m8 gotted ripped 2000 pound sent money via moneygrm to the netherlands and never got the item which was a yam 660 grizzly quad any ideas on how to get money back would be nice thanks

i fell for it too when i look back now i was very trusting and never got the goods
it was a laptop to good to be true
i was lookin for one on ebay and then i got this email from a seller outside of wetern union

word or warning to anyone bidding on ebay for expesnive goods u will get emails from sellers

i offered to send this guy 100 quid and i would pay the rest when i got the laptop but it never came to be honest i was one of the lucky ones many people have lost far more money than me

be warned they will rip you and run

yeah i nearly got done 2. it was a phone scam. £90 each for 5 nokia 8910i's. plus postage and western union fee it came to bout £450. i was also very trusting but thnaks to a very parinoid, (spelling!), mother. i got the money back and didn't go through with the deal. i lost the £37 western union fee. i also had to send it to the netherlands. the bloke said his name was frank zeeman. in a strange way i am reliefed that i am not the only one who has been taken in by this !!!!!

i couldn't do that personally, its the worst kind of theiving i think.

If you mate set up moneygrm using acredit card all he has to do is wait 60 days then tell the card cpmpany to reclaim his money as no goods recieved.

HERE'S ONE FOR YOU

ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO A RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM EBAY TO SAY THAT I HAD 20 ODD QUIDD OWED ON MY ACCOUNT, I TOLD THEM I DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN EBAY ACCOUNT AND THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. EBAY THEN SAID THEY WOULD SEND ME A FORM TO FILL IN SO THEY COULD REPORT THE CASE AS FRAUD AND I SAID IT WAS FINE BY ME. ABOUT 3 DAYS AFTER THAT I KEPT GETTING MISSED CALLS ON MY PHONE BUT PHONED IT BACK AND WHOEVER THEY WHERE ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT. THE FOLLOWING DAY I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM A FIRM OF BALIFFS SAYING THEY HAD BEEN INSTRUCTED TO COLLECT THE MONEY OWED ON EBAYS BEHALF. AFTER MY WIFE PHONED THE BALIFF FIRM AND LOST IT WITH THEM THEY SAID THEY WOULD REFER IT BACK TO EBAY. I THEN CONTACTED EBAY WITH THE THREAT OF LEGAL ACTION AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I STILL HAVE THE BALIFFS LETTER BUT NO EMAILS FROM EBAY OR I WOULD HAVE POSTED THEM.....

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE SCAMMER GOT MY DETAILS BUT EVEN THE PHONE BOOK WOULD DO I SUPPOSE
