Hi been runing norton but decided to go over to AVG - v pleased with it so far as it found 6 trojans on my pc first time i ran it

Anyway i have 2 pc networked and it seems since i installed AVG 7 i can't use the network to share the internet connection? still able to see files on each other but not able to get an internat connection on the other one ????

Anybody else had this problem

Can anyone help - tried a few things and still no joy

I had to add the other pc on the network with norton - but can't seem to find anyway of doing this with AVG?

Can u tell me if u did?

Surely that'd be down to the firewall and not the virus scanner?

I have 4 computers networked all with AVG 7 and all work fine, I did have problems with the firewall though as I was using Zone Alarm Pro which blocked all the other computers, have changed to Mc Affe 2005 and all ok now.

were you previously using norton internet security and uninstalled it as i seen it play havoc with firewall when uninstalled other answer is check the windows firewall see if thats blocked access
