My McAfee anti virus has run out and l need a new anti virus, free if possible. l use newzbin so can download off there too. Does anyone know which is the best to get and how can l check if l have any viruses on my pc now. For a free anti virus program, you won't do much better that AVG from http://free.grisoft.com/
You can also download an anti spyware program free from there as well. _________________ I don't come here any more.

got 2 agree with this AVG anti virus free is by far IMO the best free anti v prog u will get and like mender also says the antispyware prog there is tops as well!

whats with this AVG hype?! my mate told me (which im thinking is bad avice even reading this site) to get rid of my bumper norton pack (which i never had a problem with) and get free AVG. i have 7.5 and im getting viruses often. They detect them but either wont heal or theres no heal button. WTF?! i dont think its fixed a single virus _________________ Any backups bought infers i own original material and for test only

Believe you me I doubt you go to worse sites that I do - and AVG catches and cleans anything - so something is amiss at your end
Just remember not all viruses can be cleaned straight away because of they way they are written and how the hook into the system etc - so why no try scanning in safe mode if you have such a problem? _________________ >>> Aktiv8 <<<
