ALL RED RING OF DEATH AND WARRANTY QUESTIONS IN HERE PLEASE!

So, you have the Red Ring Of Death? What to know what to do next? Read on....
Well, what you can do is Phone Microsoft, here are the details:
Assistance by phone:
0800 587 1102
or +44 20 7365 9792 from a mobile phone
Hearing Impaired (TTY device):
0800 587 1103
Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday: 09:00-22:00
Saturday: 09:00-20:00
Sunday: 09:00-17:00
What usually happens is they will arrange collection of your console (DHL). So, you will get you console collected & within around 3 weeks you will have a new/refurbished console delivered back to your door. The console you receive back, may or may not be the one you sent & may already be flashed. Who knows, you will have to wait & see.
WARRANTY:
Instead of having tons of members posting this question, lets do it here!
Basically it's this simple:
You open your console and break the warranty seal...
Warranty is done with. End of story.
Don't believe me? Call Microsoft and ask them! Sure you can always try to send them your voided console hoping they won't notice, but if they do notice, then you probably have to pay for return shipping. They might even make you pay for shipping both ways.
Why won't MS fix my warranty voided console?
Well here is why... You could alter or mess it up worse than it already was or break it yourself. Why should they have to pay for something you broke?
In other words, don't post here asking if Microsoft will fix it. Call and find out for yourself or do what you want to do with the console.
Members on here arent Microsoft and we can't answer your millions of questions about warranties!
