Did you do the x-clamp fix on both heatsinks?

Did you tighten the bolts enough?

the xclamp repair doesnt always fix the RROD theres a dozen reasons why the RROD can happen an the xclamp only sorts half of them.

when u did the xclamp repair did u clean off the tops of the chips and the bottoms of the heatsinks? did u use some top notch pc thermal paste? id also recommend upgrading the fans and cooling. cos most of the time the RROD is due to overheating and just doin the xclamp alone doesnt solve the reason it was overheatin in the first place. sounds like your xbox is a bit too far gone to be ressurected. could be the cpu, the graphics chip, the ram, the small graphics chip which doesnt have a heatsink (cant rememebr what its called now.lol) or even the psu ( u can tell its that one cos the fans dont spin) ebay time i think!

if youre gettin "matrix" style graphics then thats definately your graphics chip overheating. its normally the main one to go due to being right underneath the dvd rom and havin very poor ventilation. i believe its also why the disk comes up as unreadable first. the heat from the gpu affects the dvd drive. i had it on one of mine and the disk would be very warm.

Hmmm that doesn't sound very good.

Didn't use washers? A bit silly if you ask me.
