tbh m8 ive so many favs its hard to pick one.
they are just 5 films among many that id say were my #1

like casino,godfather,easyrider,nbk didnt get put on hell i got a list of about 100 that i would class as at least a top 5 so i just picked 5 of um

ahhhh but if u track back on your choices they are all in the same genre.

godfathers in my top five aswell but lets face it everyone says that.
i picked out others that merit a place in my top 5 that are not mentioned.

eg: hoffman in kramer v kramer wasnt as good as rainman but its still a film on par with.

bit of a boring thread if we all said the same as you now wouldnt it

Those are just my top 5 mate. I like that genre of film and they all rank highly for me. Maybe a better thtread could be to rate a film oout of every genre.

Star Wars: New Hope (for the era big ground breaker).
Blade Runner (for a sci fi, its got a story and grit).
Matrix (another movie milestone imho).
Raiders of the lost ark.
